The Wild Soul Edit: Timeless Tradition (Part 2)

A Playroom Designed for Family Connection

When we wrapped the living room in this Bellevue home, there was one more space calling for a little Wild Soul magic—the girls’ playroom right off the kitchen.

Because it sits in the heart of the home, the goal was to create a space that felt just as beautiful and intentional as the main living areas, but with plenty of room for play, creativity, and connection

Before: A Room Without Rhythm

Before, the playroom had become a catch-all—a mix of mismatched furniture, tired colors, and no clear purpose. The parents wanted something that felt warm and inviting, where they could sit comfortably while their daughters played nearby.

After: Comfort Meets Connection

We brought in matching swivel chairs in a soft chambray blue, paired with an elegant patterned rug that ties in beautifully with the living room palette. The look is cohesive, timeless, and completely livable.

The chairs are cozy and durable—perfect for reading, chatting, or keeping an eye on the girls while they build, color, or dance their way through the day. The soft texture, layered neutrals, and subtle pattern keep the room feeling polished, even when toys are scattered across the floor.

Beautiful + Functional

This playroom proves that family spaces can be practical and polished at the same time. It’s warm, lived-in, and layered with love—the perfect backdrop for years of memories in the making.
