Imagine this:
As you walk through your front door, a feeling of joy rushes over you. You set down your keys on a beautiful console table you found at a flea market. Fresh flowers sit on the table, filling the room with the aroma of a spring day. Light dances on the floor as your favorite rug soothes your tired feet. After a long day, this is the only place you want to be.
As you walk down the hallway, you feel a deep sense of belonging. Your home is a reflection of who you are, the life you have lived, and the life you dream of living. The walls are decorated with photos of cherished memories, while treasures from your travels are intentionally placed throughout. You sit in your favorite chair, close your eyes, and a slight smile crosses your face: you are home.
This is the heart of what we create at Wild Soul Interiors: homes that feel deeply personal, inspired by the story of who you are and the life you dream of living.
I’m Emily, founder and principal designer of Wild Soul Interiors, an interior design studio based in my hometown of Pacifica, California. I create soulful, colorful, and joyful spaces throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
I believe home is so much more than four walls. It’s where we gather with friends and family, where we rest and recharge, where memories are made, and where the everyday moments of our lives unfold. Our homes are our sanctuaries, our foundations, and the backdrop to so much of who we are.
That belief is at the heart of Wild Soul Interiors.
After two decades in design, I’ve learned that the most meaningful homes aren’t the most perfect or the most on-trend. They’re the ones that reflect the people who live there. They support everyday life, hold the things that matter, and make you feel genuinely happy to come home.
I founded Wild Soul Interiors to offer a more personal approach to design, one that combines experience and creative vision with a process that is thoughtful, collaborative, approachable, and grounded in real life.
I want to understand what you love, what already holds meaning, how you live, and how you want your home to feel. From there, design becomes equal parts art and problem-solving. We can create something beautiful and expressive while making sure it functions for the way you actually live.
My work is defined by curated layers, joyful color, and spaces that feel collected rather than decorated. I love the dialogue between old and new: meaningful pieces you already own, thoughtful new additions, art, pattern, and one-of-a-kind finds that give a home its soul.
You’ll often find me scouring flea markets and antique shops on the weekends, searching for pieces with character, history, and just the right amount of unexpectedness. For me, the hunt is part of the joy. A home becomes more interesting when everything didn’t come from the same place or arrive at the same time.
The most timeless homes tell the stories of the people who live there. We don’t design around trends. We design around you: your story, what brings you joy, and the life you want to live.
Because everyone deserves a home they love living in.
