Why I’m not your typical interior designer

If you’ve found your way here, you may be wondering what makes Wild Soul Interiors a little different.

After nearly two decades working in high-end residential design, I realized I wanted to create something else entirely. That realization became Wild Soul Interiors.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the kind of designer I actually want to be and the kind of work that truly lights me up.

And what I’ve realized is this: I’m not your typical interior designer… and honestly, that’s my superpower.

When I created Wild Soul Interiors, I had already spent nearly two decades working in high-end residential design.

While that world taught me so much, I knew I wanted to create something different.

Something more down-to-earth.
More soulful.
More aligned with my values.

After twenty years in design, I’ve learned that most people don’t need (or want!) perfection or trends.

They want a home they can actually live in. A home that supports everyday life.

What they’re really looking for is less overwhelm and more ease.

They need someone beside them to help navigate decisions, simplify the process, and make their home finally feel like them.

Often that means stepping in during the moments that feel the most overwhelming, like selecting finishes for a remodel, narrowing down materials, or helping decisions finally move forward with clarity.

That’s the heart of Wild Soul Interiors.

An interior design studio rooted in my hometown of Pacifica, California, helping people create soulful, joyful homes inspired by who they are and how they want to live.

Whether you’re navigating a remodel, refreshing a room, or starting completely from scratch, my goal is always the same:

To help you create a home that feels like coming home to yourself.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by decisions, unsure where to begin, or simply want your home to finally feel right, I’d love to help.

You can explore my services here or reach out anytime to start a conversation.

I’m so grateftul you’re here!

Emily
