Santorini Sun Color Palette
This palette was inspired by the iconic blue domes, whitewashed architecture, sparkling sea, and warm golden sunshine of Santorini.
At first, I thought this palette would come together easily. Blue and yellow are complementary colors, so it seemed like a natural place to start.
But while finding inspiration images of Santorini was easy, translating that feeling into an interior was much more challenging.
As I kept designing, I found myself moving in a much more modern direction than I had originally imagined. Instead of recreating Santorini, I wanted to capture the feeling of it.
The result is a palette of creamy whites, deep cobalt blues, warm honey yellows, and natural textures that feels bright, fresh, and sun-drenched.
If you love this palette, here are a few ways you can recreate the feeling in your own home:
Crisp white or soft cream walls that create a bright, airy foundation.
Cobalt blue accent chairs, artwork, or painted furniture for depth and contrast.
Warm golden yellows layered through drapery, pillows, throws, or decorative accessories.
Sculptural furniture with clean lines and rounded forms that feels contemporary yet timeless.
Natural materials like linen, stone, plaster, light oak, handmade ceramics, and woven textures.
A few collected vintage pieces to add warmth, character, and a sense of history.
If you've been craving a home that feels warm, joyful, and full of light, a Santorini Sun Color Palette is a great place to start.
