Earthy Boho Color Palette
If you’re new here, welcome—I'm Emily, an interior designer with over 20 years of experience and founder of Wild Soul Interiors.
But more importantly, over the years I’ve watched color trends come and go, and then come back again. And what I’ve learned is this: most people don’t actually want to follow trends.
They do it because it feels safe. Because it feels like what they should do.
But what they’re really craving… is a home. A space they can relax into, gather in, and feel completely at ease in their everyday life.
And color is a huge part of that.
That’s exactly why I created my free training, From Beige to Brave—to help you choose a color you love with confidence and start creating a home that actually feels like you.
And if you’re looking for inspiration, this blog is part of an ongoing series where I share color palettes inspired by places, seasons, and the feeling of home, so you can start to see what’s possible in your own space.
I’m so glad you’re here!
Earthy Boho Color Palette
This palette was inspired by sun-warmed earth, handmade pottery, desert landscapes, and that soft, grounded feeling of being connected to nature.
It’s a mix of warm terracottas, muted greens, soft clay tones, and rich, earthy browns. Colors that feel calm, rooted, and effortlessly layered.
What I love most about this palette is that it’s incredibly forgiving. Just like Mother Nature, it doesn’t need to be perfect to work. The tones naturally complement each other, making it easy to build a home that feels collected over time.
You could bring this palette into your home through:
A warm, earthy-toned sofa layered with textured pillows
Terracotta and clay decor for that handmade, grounded feel
A vintage-inspired rug with subtle pattern and depth
Olive or moss green accents through furniture, ceramics, or plants
Linen curtains in soft, sun-washed tones to keep everything feeling light and relaxed
If you’ve been craving a home that feels more grounded, warm, and connected to nature— an Earthy Boho Color Palette is such a beautiful place to start.
