Beige is not the problem. Playing it safe is.

If you’re new here, welcome—I'm Emily, an interior designer with over 20 years of experience and founder of Wild Soul Interiors.

Over the years, I’ve watched color trends come and go… and then come back again.

And what I’ve learned is this: most people don’t actually want to follow trends.

They do it because it feels safe.

Because it feels like what they should do.

But what they’re really craving… is a home.

A space they can relax into, gather in, and feel completely at ease in.

And color is a HUGE part of that!

If you’ve been defaulting to beige because it feels “safe”… you’re not alone.

There’s nothing wrong with beige if you love beige. A room filled with warm neutrals can be layered, welcoming, and full of personality. What I care about is whether it was your choice.

Maybe there’s a colorful rug you keep coming back to, or a paint color you love but keep talking yourself out of. We can start there. Color might show up in one piece or run throughout your home. Together, we’ll find the version that feels right to you and make a plan so it all works together.

If you’ve been choosing the safe option while wishing your home felt more like you, I’d love to help you explore what’s possible.
