Layered with Love

A fresh start in Pacifica, CA

When Rich and I moved into our Pacifica home, we saw it as an opportunity to create a home together in every sense of the word. We wanted a place where life could happen, a home for slow mornings, dinner parties, movie nights, evenings spent listening to records, and all the everyday moments in between.

We spent weekends wandering flea markets and vintage stores, choosing colors and furniture, and making every decision side by side. Because we were renting, we chose to bring in color through rugs, pillows, and artwork. Mixing vintage finds with new pieces, displaying our favorite vinyl records, and filling our home with plants helped us create a space that reflects who we are.

Our home is rooted in one of my favorite design philosophies: the most soulful spaces aren't created all at once. They're layered with love, collected over time, and tell the story of the people who live there.
