Lavender & Olive Color Palette

If you’re new here, welcome!

I’m Emily, founder of Wild Soul Interiors and an interior designer with over 20 years of experience helping people create homes that feel like them, not what’s trending or what they “should” like.

One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that people are often drawn to spaces that feel warm, layered, soulful, and deeply personal… but they don’t always trust themselves enough to create that feeling in their own homes.

So they play it safe.
Choose the neutral option.
Second-guess the colors they actually love.

But the homes that feel the most beautiful are usually the ones that feel personal.
Collected.
A reflection of the people living inside them.

And color is such a huge part of that.

That’s exactly why I created my free training, From Beige to Brave —to help you choose a color you love with confidence and start creating a home that actually feels like you.

And if you’re looking for inspiration, this blog is part of an ongoing weekly series where I share color palettes inspired by places, seasons, travel, and the feeling of home, so you can start seeing what’s possible in your own space.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Lavender & Olive Color Palette

This palette was inspired by lavender fields in Provence, olive branches, worn linen, and that soft golden light that makes everything feel calm and romantic.

It’s a layered mix of muted lavender, earthy plum, olive green, warm stone, and soft creamy neutrals that feels grounded, collected, and quietly beautiful.

What I love most about this palette is that it feels feminine without feeling overly sweet or delicate. The olive and earthy plum tones help ground the softer lavender shades, creating a home that feels warm, soulful, relaxed, and deeply lived in rather than overly polished.

You could bring this palette into your home through:

  • Dusty lavender or mauve accents layered through pillows, artwork, or textiles

  • Olive green furniture, ceramics, or vintage-inspired decor pieces

  • Soft linen curtains and natural textures to keep the palette feeling relaxed and effortless

  • A vintage-inspired rug with muted mauve, olive, and faded earthy tones

  • Warm stone or creamy neutral walls that allow the deeper colors to shine

  • Handmade pottery, collected objects, and layered textiles for warmth and depth

If you’ve been craving a home that feels soft, grounded, romantic, and effortlessly collected, a Lavender & Olive Color Palette is such a beautiful place to start.

And if you’re ready to stop second-guessing your color choices and start creating a home that actually feels like you, From Beige to Brave is the perfect next step.
